Barack Obama’s communist-Truther Green Czar resigned on Saturday night.
It looks like the FOX News All Stars were right. They predicted he’d be gone by Monday.

Oh Brother… Van Jones plays innocent victim in his resignation statement:
The Washington Post reported:
“On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me,” Jones, special adviser for green jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, said in a statement announcing his resignation just after midnight Saturday. “They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide.”
He continued: “I have been inundated with calls — from across the political spectrum — urging me to ’stay and fight.’ But I came here to fight for others, not for myself. I cannot in good conscience ask my colleagues to expend precious time and energy defending or explaining my past. We need all hands on deck, fighting for the future.”
Good-bye, victim.

I think it is better for the country that this man has resigned.

At first I was disappointed because I figured the longer this guy hung on and the longer Team Obama stood behind him, the worse it would be for them. But on second thoughts, this is great news.
Remember, with Van Jones goes the remaining credibility of this administration. It is on record that they followed this man’s career, they watched him closely, they picked him out…knowing fine well what kind of a person he is. Not only that, they stood by him 100% when the truth came out, they said he’d done nothing wrong, they said he would stay.
Well, if he did nothing wrong then why did he resign? Guilt. Good old fashioned guilt. And with him goes a symbol of the incredibly bad judgment of the Obama administration. What kind of confidence can the country have in this government now? Their far left culture, their far left agenda is now undeniable.
This man thought he could take down Glenn Beck. Like the rest of the far-left kooks in this administration, he completely misread the nation. America respects Fox News and Glenn Beck more than they do Van Jones or Obama or the liberal mainstream media that tried to bury this story. Beck took down Van Jones and he did it with the help of a handful of bloggers like Jim Hoft.
Liberals have been running around like chimps at a chimp’s tea party yelling that conservatives are through, irrelevant, powerless. And yet all it took was one quirky Fox News presenter and a couple of bloggers to oust one of Obama’s chosen Czars. This is one WEAK government….and I no longer have confidence in them to protect America in any way shape or form.
Far more than Van Jones resigned this morning. Hope and Change threw the towel in with him.

What’s funny is reading the WaPo’s version of the resignation, they mention only a couple of things that led to this and soft pedal them. Involved in ‘civil rights’. How pathetic.

The only downside is his replacement will be slyer. There should be NO CZARs. NONE. Zippo. Do not accept a sacrificial lamb. Van Jones’ mistake was he LOVES the camera - too flashy.
Do you guys remember some woman who Slick Willy tried to get confirmed for Attorney General (I think)? As I remember that was the repudiation of Slick Willy. She was a real piece of work.
My hope and prayer at this time is that there will be a thorough investigation as to how this person got past the vetting process and was awarded a “top secret” security clearance to work in the WH.
I’ve never worked there but I would assume a TS clearance would be necessary?
I doubt America has many well-kept top secrets anymore with this totally incompetent anti-American bunch in this administration/congress.
