Poll: Obama earns nation’s trust [barf alert]
Apr 14th, 2009 by Rick Arms
Three months into his presidency, Barack Obama stands out as perhaps the most trusted figure in American politics.
In a new Public Strategies Inc./POLITICO national survey of 1,000 registered voters, Obama outdistances figures on both the left and the right in earning the public’s trust, with two-thirds of respondents saying they trust the president “to identify the right solutions to the problems we face as a nation.”
Of those who said they trust the president, 31 percent said they trust him “a great deal.” An additional 35 percent said they have “some” trust that Obama will find the correct solution. Thirty-one percent said they trust Obama either “not very much” or “not at all.”
with two-thirds of respondents saying they trust the president “to identify the right solutions to the problems we face as a nation.”
Let us just talk simple math:
47% of the people voted against this man and all what he has done since he became President is to prove to them without an iota of doubt that they were absolutely right in voting against him because he confirmed to them through all his actions that he is a socialist, a left wing liberal, and a defeatist and appeaser on national security and foreign policy.
For him to have two third of the people trust means that 30% of the those who voted against him are now supporting him and that all the people who voted for him are still supporting him. This is an impossibility at least for the first part of the assumption.
Now at least 10% of his voters were Republicans and Conservatives who voted for him because they were angry at the Republican Party, and/or at President Bush, and/or John McCain. They never voted for him because they trust him or love his socialism, his left wing liberalism, or his defeatism and appeasement. I am certain that most of these 10% Republicans/Conservatives who voted for him are now badly regretting their vote.
There is no way in any objective poll that two third of the population trust Obama.

And which nation would that be?
Trusted?
I don’t remember a nationwide wave of Tea Parties under President Bush.
Then there is that historically precipitous dive in the stock market…
“Three months into his presidency, Barack Obama stands out as perhaps the most trusted figure in American politics”
If that is the case our politicians are not very trustworthy.
That’s because conservatives were too busy supporting him to oppose him.
“1,000 registered voters”
I could get a majority of 1000 voters to say the sky is green.
Polls are lies.
sigh….I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to convince folks that, though Obama is a problem, the real issue is our fellow countrymen.
They polled 1,000, but only 215 were Republicans. Uh, huh, that’s a reliable poll. Sure it is.
It’s true, he is very popular. Did you hear the whiny woman on Rush Monday telling how much faith she had in Oprah’s Choice? It’s a real phenomenon. His supporters will fight to the death if needed.
Polls may be lies, but Americans like Obama.
Americans will continue to like Obama until the MSM is taken off the air, on television and radio news, and taken out of print, on the pages of your local newspaper carrying wire stories.
Americans not only like Obama, they like socialism and the nanny state. We have tipped. It is over. It is finished.
Let’s see if I have this right. Out of 1000, 2/3 trust him…but out of that 2/3, 31% “don’t trust him very much”, or “none” at all. OK then 2/3 of 1000 is 666 that trust him, right?…and 31% or 1/3 of the 666 is 222 more that trust him “little” or “none at all” So…if you take the 222 off the 666 (2/3) then that only leaves 444 out of the 1000 surveyed that actually trusts him…that’s not even 50% that actually trust him.
Umm…sounds like the Democrates or the administration screwed with the wording and figures to make it sound good. Isn’t that what they try to do to make the “bail out” and “stimulis plan” sound good??
